How to Add Auctions and Votes to Your Kick Stream

It’s an easy way to keep chat engaged and make them feel like part of the action. Plus, any unsuccessful bids are refunded as credits for future use, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience.

Creative Ways to Use Auctions and Polls

Auctions:

• VIP Access: Let viewers bid for a special VIP badge or temporary mod privileges.
• Gameplay Challenges: Auction off the ability to choose your next game, character, or in-game action.
• Shoutouts & Promos: Offer a personalized shoutout or channel promo to the highest bidder.

Polls:

• Chat-Driven Decisions: Let your audience decide what happens next in your stream.
• Game & Content Choices: Give viewers the power to pick the next game or activity.
• Challenge Votes: Have your chat vote on whether you take on a hard mode challenge or use a specific strategy.

Setting Up Auctions and Polls on Kick

Step 1: Sign Up on Blerp

Head over to Blerp and create an account using your email or preferred sign-in method.

Step 2: Complete Your Onboarding

Go through the onboarding steps to customize your experience and connect your Kick stream.

Step 3: Navigate to Blerp Experiences

On the left menu, click “Blerp Experiences” to access your auctions and polls setup.

Setting Up Auctions on Kick

• Choose “Create a New Auction” or use one of the ready-made templates.

• Fill in the auction details:
• What you’re auctioning (e.g., special privileges, gameplay choices, or custom content)
• Starting bid amount (in Kicks, Bits, or Channel Points)
• Auction duration

• Click “Start” to launch the auction.
• End the auction at any time by selecting “End This Auction”.

Setting Up Votes on Kick

• Click on “Votes” at the top of the Blerp Experiences page.
• Select “Create a New Poll” or choose from example polls.

• Enter poll details:
• Poll title (e.g., What game should I play next?)
• Options for voting
• Poll duration
• Refund amount for losing votes



• Click “Start” to begin the poll.
• End the poll anytime by selecting “End This Vote”.

Displaying Auctions and Polls in Your Kick Stream

For the best experience, make sure your viewers can see and interact with your auctions and polls:

1. Add the Auctions and Polls Browser Source to your streaming software (OBS, Streamlabs, etc.).
2. Customize your alerts by clicking “Alert Settings” at the top of the Blerp Experiences page.
